Tour no. 1: OLD TOWN WALK

Have a walk in the oldest part of the town and find out the history and legends hidden behind the impressive buildings. We will show you the most important places in Krakow: remnants of medieval town walls, the Main Market Square with St. Mary’s Church, the University district and the Royal Castle with the cathedral. We will reveal to you all the secrets of the town, we will gossip about the most famous of its citizens (pope John Paul II, Copernicus). We will even introduce you to the dragon of Krakow!

Tour no. 2: KAZIMIERZ – JEWISH DISTRICT

Kazimierz is a district of Krakow with multicultural traditions and rich history. During this tour you can learn about Jewish traditions and lifestyle. We will recall the best years of the Jewish community in our town but we will also tell you about the disaster of the WWII and Holocaust while following the footsteps of Steven Spielberg’s ‘Schindler’s List’ which was shoot here. We will take you to the original Schindler’s factory and to the Krakow ghetto area. Let us show you a place with exceptional atmosphere created by tradition, tragedy and magic of people who lived here.

Tour no. 3: NOWA HUTA – FORMER COMMUNIST DISTRICT

Nowa Huta was built in the 1950s as an ideal communist town. As usual, the communists failed to complete their plans and instead of creating the ideal town, they witnessed the creation of a unique town organism which soon started to live its own life. A visit to this district will help you realize that communism was something more than just stories about James Bond and the other Cold War era spies. Here we will tell you about everyday life under the communist regime but also about the struggle to abolish the hated system. There are hardly any places in the world where you can see social realism architecture on such a big scale. We will make your tour more interesting by providing photographs from the past.
